You know how the saying goes: “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade”…
Well, when life gives you a gigantic watermelon… make watermelon margaritas!
Obviously.
But actually, after my girlfriends and I finished the 5k Barrhaven Run for Rogers House (all of us beating our times from last year, I might add), we were in serious need of a cocktail. Or ten.
Thanks to my gorgeous Ninja (a.k.a. the best blender ever), these were fast, easy and refreshing.
I guess they’re not actually margaritas, mostly because of the absence of triple sec, but they’re close. And involve tequila. And I’m one of the few people who actually really like tequila.
Anyway, what I love about these is how pretty they are. Don’t you agree?
