What’s the definition of sangria?
Because I call any wine/fruit juice mixture sangria. And I’m sure that’s not technically right. But it’s what I do.
And because I’m really only a red wine drinker (I pretend to enjoy white and rose, but I really don’t get it yet), I will gladly make “sangria” our of any and every bottle of non-red wine kicking around the house.
But I would never dilute red wine. Never.
Also, when I host parties (book club parties, more the most part), sangria is such a nice way to ease into the festivities. You know, before we turn up the music and bring out the hard liquor.
This pink sangria is refreshing any time of the year. And who doesn’t love strawberries?
