This was the first alcoholic drink I ever had.
At least I think it was. It also might have been a cosmopolitan. Can’t quite remember.
Anyway, I think we can safely say my first lychee martini was quite a while ago. Like, pre-legal drinking age. Unless you’re my Mama, in which case Daddy would NEVER have bought me any drinks underage.
Nowadays I don’t drink many martinis – I’m a wine girl through and through. But every now and then I get a craving.
I must say, though, that I find lychee martinis a bit… girly. Am I right? Let me know if there are any male lychee martini-lovers out there…
Lychee Martinis

- 3 oz vodka
- 2 oz lychee juice
- 2 lychees, from a can (optional)
Instructions
- Pour all ingredients in a shaker over ice. Shake and strain into chilled martini glasses. Garnish with a canned lychee and serve.
